  Jianjun LiuAt the end of June this year, our county first established the Duolun Nuo ‘er government affairs new media live broadcast room. We regularly arrange for the main leaders of a department or township to broadcast live in Aauto Quicker from 3: 00 pm to 4: 00 pm every working day.   Jianjun LiuAt present, we use the Aauto Quicker "Duolun County People’s Government" for live broadcast. The live broadcast will be broadcast live on two accounts of the county government and the department through two mobile phones. There was no theme in the first live broadcast, so there were not too many people at that time. There are now more than 4,000 fans in our government.

  The Paper: What opportunity made you start broadcasting Dolan live?

  Jianjun LiuIn February this year, I met a person who has more than 1.9 million fans in Tik Tok, and his annual sales income is several hundred million. I was inspired, and this new media can do business in Tik Tok and Aauto Quicker. Later, I made a short video about the local customs of Duolun County, where people often left messages to reflect some problems. I found that it could communicate with the masses, so I tried to broadcast live, and everyone could ask me some questions in the live broadcast room.

  I think this is very good. Ordinary people don’t need to ask the county magistrate face to face if they have questions. They may just need to ask one thing to do. Although I am the county magistrate, I didn’t answer some questions with WeChat official account from the office, so I started to let the unit broadcast live.

  The Paper: Why do you want to use short videos to promote Duolun County?

  Jianjun LiuWe regard Aauto Quicker as our work assistant and speak through Tik Tok. The government has a lot to let the people know. Not everyone can see the traditional use of WeChat WeChat official account to publicize the work. But platforms like Aauto Quicker and Tik Tok are open platforms that everyone can see theoretically. The common people are dissatisfied with the government because the policies are not equal. There are not many live broadcast problems this afternoon because we all deal with them in time. One of the netizens was very resentful, saying that you should take care of the garbage problem, and the director of the urban management said that you should take care of it. Without Aauto Quicker’s political platform, it would be impossible for him to find a director and a county magistrate.

  The PaperWhat do you think of the negative issues mentioned in the comments?

  Jianjun Liu: I think there are very few negative comments, and the problems that ordinary people usually reflect will be dealt with in time without much resentment. There are also some netizens who suggest that the problem can’t be solved. For example, if their village needs road construction, I will reply that the road construction is planned. Under normal circumstances, netizens will understand.

  The Paper: How long will it take you to broadcast live and reply to netizens every day?

  Jianjun LiuIt takes me two or three hours every night to read netizens’ messages, private letters and answer their questions. But for example, some people reflect the problem of subsistence allowances, which I can’t tell or say. If I say it wrong, it will be bad. I will forward the screenshot of his message to the Civil Affairs Bureau to handle it for him, which is quite time-consuming. But if you ignore him, it becomes "I asked the county magistrate to reflect the problem and he ignored it."

  The position of county magistrate can’t be solved by sitting in the office. I went to a place the day before yesterday, and I kept broadcasting live for seven hours. My own live broadcast is not like those talented anchors who reward, singing or anything. My live broadcast room can be understood as a chat room. When netizens come in, they will ask all kinds of questions, such as where to travel, how to get there, what’s interesting, how the work was last year, how it was this year and so on. So I’m a little different from the live broadcast of the department.

  Jianjun LiuFor example, the director of our Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Science and Technology Bureau broadcast live very well. I recorded a dozen articles on my own Aauto Quicker and spoke very well. He did go up and interact with netizens. Because he is familiar with his work, the people have responded very well. Sometimes you ask more questions, so it’s easy to broadcast live. There are many problems reflected by the Agriculture Bureau. Just as he is familiar with it, he will talk about it in a series. He is like a personal speech. Like some bureaus, the next step is to consider whether to use them live. For example, the Audit Bureau and Statistics Bureau, which have little relationship with ordinary people at ordinary times, are embarrassed when they broadcast live, and no one asks anything.

  Jianjun Liu: For example, in the renovation of our old city, the construction waste is not cleaned up, and the live broadcast reflects that this problem has changed significantly. Change is communication, and there is a bridge with the masses. The effect determines the number of fans.
